About Natural Skincare Chick
Natural Skincare Chick began in 2015 as a simple blog—created to share natural skincare tips, DIY recipes, and honest guidance for women who wanted better for their skin.
What started as information quickly became transformation.
As the community grew, so did the need for structure, education, and deeper knowledge. In 2019, Natural Skincare Chick evolved into a full online school—designed to teach women not only how to care for their skin, but how to create, formulate, and understand natural skincare at a professional level.
By 2022, the movement had reached over 8,000 students in 89 countries—women from all walks of life learning how to take control of their skincare, build confidence in their formulations, and step into a new level of self-sufficiency.
Our Foundation
Natural Skincare Chick is not built on trends—it is built on legacy.
Dr. Misty comes from a long line of cosmetologists. Her mother was a Master Cosmetologist who owned and operated multiple beauty salons throughout the Chicagoland area and served as the director of a highly successful beauty school.
That foundation established more than skill—it established standards.
A deep understanding of beauty, discipline, education, and the responsibility that comes with teaching others became the backbone of everything Natural Skincare Chick represents today.
The Natural Skincare Association (Founded 2026)
The Natural Skincare Association is the governing and accrediting body behind the Natural Skincare Academy and the broader Natural Skincare Chick ecosystem.
While Natural Skincare Chick serves as the front-facing brand, the Association establishes the standards, structure, and authority that support everything we do.
Accredits and validates the certifications and courses offered by the Natural Skincare Academy
Establishes education and practice standards for natural skincare professionals
Supports the development of certified practitioners, educators, and leaders
Oversees a growing network of chapter leaders and training communities
Extends accreditation opportunities to other natural skincare schools and programs globally
Through accreditation, the Natural Skincare Association ensures that training programs meet a consistent level of quality, integrity, and excellence—positioning certified individuals as credible and recognized professionals in the natural skincare space.
The Natural Skincare Academy (Founded in 2025)
The Natural Skincare Academy is the official educational arm of this movement—designed to bring structure, depth, and progression to natural skincare training.
This is where students move beyond DIY and into true formulation, certification, and mastery.
The Academy is built on a clear, three-tiered system:
